Sako 85 Finnlight II

The Sako 85 Finnlight II is a bolt-action rifle chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor with a 20.4 inch fluted barrel and 5+1 capacity. It uses a lightweight RTM fiberglass stock with an adjustable cheek piece and a weather resistant Cerakote coating on the barreled action. Built as a full size mountain hunting rifle that stays light to carry, it is set up for long days in the field.

The fluted barrel uses a 1:8 twist and is designed to cut weight while helping the barrel cool between shots. There are no iron sights, and the receiver uses Sako's integral dovetail for optics mounting. The two-way Sako safety locks both the trigger and the bolt handle and allows a cartridge to be loaded or unloaded with the safety engaged.

The single stage trigger is adjustable from 2 to 4 lbs and sits in an all-steel trigger guard. Soft touch grip surfaces and a textured stock finish help maintain control in wet or cold conditions. At 40.5 inches overall and 6.6 lbs, the Finnlight II is suited to backcountry hunting and other carry focused 6.5 Creedmoor use.
